Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011. Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Edge. The smartphone was launched in 22nd April 2020. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display, The Motorola Edge is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Edge packs a 64-megapixel (f/1.8, 0.8-micron) + 16-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.0-micron) + 8-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.12-micron) primary camera on the rear and a 25-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Motorola Edge runs Android 10 and is powered by a 4500mAh. It measures 161.64 x 71.10 x 9.29 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 188.00 grams. The Motorola Edge is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
